Right after earning his bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the METU, Turkey; Burak Küçükgüçlü started his career in 2005 at Maersk Line within the A.P. Moller Group and worked in variety of roles in customer relationships, sales, marketing and operations as a Management Trainee. He was then appointed Agency Control and Scorecard Coordinator at the Antwerp office of the Safmarine Container Lines in Belgium as part of the trade finance department with responsibility of performance analyzing and coordinating 130 agencies between 2007 and 2010.

Moving back to Turkey in 2010, he served as Project Manager in the finance department of Maersk Line. The projects for increasing Black Sea Cluster’s financial productivity he initiated and ran, had been selected as best practice globally for 2011. He earned Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate at the same period. Between 2011 and 2014, he served at Safmarine Container Lines respectively in the roles of Levant Cluster Business Excellence Manager, Blacksea Cluster Business Development Manager responsible for Turkey, Ukraine, Romania, Bulgaria and Sales Manager for Ukraine.

In 2014, he initiated Tradezone Logistics brand which had started in Turkey, with and enthusiasm to understand his customers’ business and offer boutique logistics services. Now he has moved the brand to London as a traditional center of shipping with well established finance, insurace and law institutions. He still continues and enjoys working to improve his customers’ trade as freight forwarder.
